This 'In My Heart' sensory bin invites children to explore emotions through hands-on play, inspired by Jo Witek's heartfelt story. Filled with colorful textures, scoops and heart themed materials, the bin encourages children to express how feelings look, feel, and change - just like the hearts in the book.
As children explore, they are given the space to talk about big feelings, quiet feelings, happy moments, and heavy emotions in a safe, playful way!

* Fine Motor Skills - Scoop, spoon, tong, sift and pour using the tools provided to develop pincer grip and hand strength essential for writing.
* Language Development - Encourage your child to recall and sequence details from the book. Each acrylic heart in the bin represents a different emotion helping children connect words to feelings.

* 3 cups of sensory mix made of kid safe colored rice, barley, pasta and small acrylic hearts.
* Hand painted tools such as a small wooden scoop, mini wooden spoon, mini candle holder cup, a heart shaped container, a heart shaped cookie cutter, mini steel tong, a mini plastic pitcher, a mini plastic mug and a small plastic funnel.
* Loose parts - a wooden hand painted girl peg doll, 6 acrylic hearts with stickers on them to depict various feelings.
* 3 felt hearts with cords for lacing, stickers and 5 heart scissoring sheets.
* Plastic tray is not included but can be added on at an additional cost.

Care Instructions
* Store the sensory mix and the loose parts in a cool, dry place (They can be stored in the press and seal bags that they come in).
* Not for use with water.
* Wash hands before and after use.
